Friday again

It's another 3.5 hours before I could leave office. I need to wait for my beloved colleague since I'm car pooling today. I'm sleepy after a nice lunch but thankfully, the sleepiness isn't that bad since it's Friday today. Weekends is coming and I don't have to come office, haha. I'll be moving over to the new building on Monday so that is also something to look forward for.

I begin to realize that my work place is so so far from my house. I need to travel 43KM per way and 50-55 mins on the road everyday to work (if I drive). Apart from that, I need to be patience whenever I encounter uneducated drivers that drives slowly on the fast lane. There are simply too many people like these in the city. Sadly, they never learn :(

Orange Tuesday evening

It was raining pretty heavily yesterday evening after work. As I sat on my friend's car while he drives me to the LRT station, I notice a colourful orange like view. The sun was shining right through at the back of us and everything was orange. Looks cool ain't it? I happen to capture some shots with my W800i and there was even a rainbow. It was very colourful (even it has 7 colours) but something that I have not seen in the city for a long time. Perhaps I'm not observant enough tho', haha

My Tuesday

If you were to ask me about work, I'll tell you it's simply hectic for the day. It looks like there are 2 Monday's in this week already. I hope it won't be another Monday tomorrow, haha.

As for life, it is 70% filled with work while 30% sleep. In short, you can say I don't have a life or is everyone having the same life the moment they start working? *lol* I wanted to go for a trip somewhere for a break but can't find anyone to go with. Any kind soul which would like to go with me? :p

I had 2 cups of coffee and a cup of tea in 2 hours after lunch and I still feel sleepy *yawn*

Monday blues

The first time a Monday has been so hectic for me but I'm glad I pass it through without much difficulties, haha. The number of tickets are tremendous, everything going down and up and down again and I'm alone for the day. Good experience that is but I hope it'll never screw up again like today.

I'll be leaving home shortly and it's another day at work or shall I say that it's another day in life. No meaning ain't it? :)

Steamboat dinner

I had a great steamboat dinner on Friday with my colleagues from work. We did it all together alone without the girls and looks like we (guys) can do it just as good, haha. I was co-incidently in pink again and got my hair messed up for the photo session (diligently helped prepare the food). I had my phone camera on self-timer mode so that all of us can take a group photo. All my colleagues in the photo is either married or has a steady with only me being single. Sad ain't it? Haha

Supermarket spree @ JUSCO

I had a fun supermarket shopping spree yesterday evening as we'll be having a steamboat party at my colleague's place tonight.



I reached home at 8PM+ and fetched my grandmother to Pandan Indah to view a house. The house was alright, pretty good condition, well renovated and spacious. It's an 18x65 being sold at RM250,000 which is a good bargain but the direction is facing WEST which is a NO NO :( I guess I'll have to hunt further for houses again. It's not easy to find a house surely :p

Lost ...

Sometimes it's a feeling like you're losing off the battle. It's a hard fought battle and you might be already losing half of your arsenal not knowing what will happen next. It feels like you're simply down under but there's nothing much you can do about it but to only hope.

At times things are not meant to be rushed and even if you do, it doesn't make a difference. I guess there are just too many things in life that is out of our control, far beyond what we thought we could. Thinking back only makes it more difficult, noticing all the mistakes and terrible things you've done. At times we wish we could turn back time, to avoid what we shouldn't have done. Often we imagine things and things are so wonderful in imaginations but we never know if it'll ever come.

Optimistically, imagination means a reality that hasn't come about while time will reveals the truth. Pessimistically, it's just a day dream. Optimistic is the way how I see it but I know where I stand. I believe humans make mistakes but sometimes we're not forgiven. I believe in waiting but what if the wait never come? There are too many "IF" and "BUT" when in the fact it could be avoided if only things are much better now in reality.

The universe is rather complex, so does the meaning of life. Humans are equipped with feelings and feelings are uncontrollable. Sadness isn't something we could avoid and happiness isn't something we could always keep and expect. It's the nature of how things are that the world is never perfect. It is sometimes hard but the determination and self-motivation keep things going. Expectations are always high and failure is truly devastating.

I can only hope and pray hard that the unappeared reality would someday come.

My recent LRT ride

I took the STAR LRT yesterday after a long long time (haven't been taking the train much since I got my own car). The journey was pretty "pleasant" and it took me +/- 30 minutes from "Bukit Jalil" to "Ampang" on my way back from work. For those who wonder why am I on LRT, it's basically a car pool project with colleagues due to the recent fuel price hike. Yes, it might sound dumb but what da heck, haha

I reached the LRT station at around 7.15PM and I boarded the train towards the "Chan Sow Lin" direction. The crowd was pretty small and the ride was fine. As I need to get back to the "Ampang" station, I'd have to transit trains on the "Chan Sow Lin" station. As we all know, Malaysians have a "wonderful" habit of not queing up for busses nor trains. The train towards the "Ampang" direction was terribly packed when it reaches and the crowd boarding the train was just as many. As expected, everyone rushed towards the train when the doors open.

I know I'm not doing it right but since I wouldn't want to wait for the next train, I squeezed myself in. The door could barely close but thankfully, I was thin enough, haha. The ride was alright until someone farted in the train. It's hard but there's nothing much we could do but to hold breath for a while :) Nevertheless, it's a pretty fun ride and another day after work.

Nope, I'm not complaining

I slept late last night again and yes, I have eye bags - terribly deep one *lol* The first thing I did when I reached office was to have a cup of thick coffee. I normally prefer tea over coffee but I guess coffee seems to give better help for someone that is lack of sleep. I'm not complaining about the 4 1/2 hour sleep that I had :p It's going to be another long day at work.

Btw, I found a photo of a nice Siberian Husky. Isn't it cute? :)

New blog template

*YAY* I finally completed my new blog skin. I've spent quite a bit of time editing and making some changes to the template before the end result came about. At least it's something different and new compared to the default blogger template.

A new song has also been uploaded from Jay's latest album (Track 10) and I've no idea whats the song name about. I kinda like this song so perhaps I should start learning how to sing it to amuse girls if I ever go K again, haha.

It's FRIDAY

Wouldn't it be great if we only work from Monday to Thursday with Friday to Sunday being our off days? YES, I know I sound really greedy and stupid but that doesn't mean I'm lazy. I simply love weekends so much as I don't have to come office and that I could sleep more and go out, haha. Friday is simply one of the best days in the week *lol*

I have no plans for the coming weekends tho' and as usual, I'd probably be recharging up myself by sleeping. I want to go for movies but no one wants to go with me. I want to go for coffee but no one is accompanying me. I want to eat sushi but people thinks I'm nuts. You see the problem with this old chap? He's lonely and not being bothered by the young - hahaha

I guess my best bet would be to spend more time sleeping, internet-ing and snooker-ing. What a life! :p

RM500 for fuel a month

Thanks to our beloved government for raising fuel prices and cutting down subsidization. I now have to spend RM18 a day on fuel to work. This does not include toll charges of RM1.30 per way, which amounts to RM2.60 a day. Public transportation is not cheap and totally inconvinient too :(

Everytime a new road is built, tolls are in place and we are forced to pay whenever we use it. Driving around the country for vacation is no longer cheap but terribly expensive with petrol at RM1.92 a litre plus mad crazy toll charges. Why do we need to pay tolls when we pay for our road tax. Where does all the money go? KL roads are filled with pot holes all over but they are not fixed until it gets really bad. In Singapore, a shop selling absorbers might go bankcrupt but in Malaysia, the shop might be making big bucks thanks to our road condition.

I really don't understand what the government is doing and is rather unfortunate that this is the best they believe they can do.

26 year "OLD"

I'm old and I'm so tired and sleepy these days. I don't know if it's due to too much of work or too much of thinking (high load of brain activity). Is there a place where I could get a machine to measure it? Haha :p

I used to take vitamin B2's but not anymore. It's not that I ran out of it but it's because I'm LAZY *grr* Anyway, these are signs and symptoms of old age and I'll be having white hair soon. Oh my goodness, what's going to happen next? Sigh :(

Honda Civic 1.8/2.0 I-VTEC

Lunch buddies and I went over to the Honda showroom in Puchong yesterday and had our first look at the new Honda Civic. It looks pretty good and neat with the 1.8 priced at RM117,800 while 2.0 at RM131,800. The 2.0 model is cool as it comes with black leather seats, shiftronic gears on the steering (just like F1 cars), HID lights (low beam only - sigh) and automatic volume control on the audio player meaning if you speed your car, it'll help you increase the volume. I guess they copied it over from BMW :p

The sound proof is wonderful, doors closes solidly and rather spacious car I would say. Unfortunately for underpaid and poor IT professionals like me, I guess I won't be able to buy it but hopefully something else this year, haha.

Cars

Ok, I'm going to talk about cars today *lol* The new Honda Civic seems to look pretty cool on the papers but I won't comment until I see the real one. Anyway, my type of car would be something similar to the one shown below. The latest 3 series by BMW, currently with the world's lightest 6 cylinder engine. The 325i model is priced at RM328,000 while 320i at RM268,000. The price is only an approximate value and yeah, it'll be a long way before I finally get to own one of these, haha.

It's the innovation and technology by BMW that makes the difference and if you look at the car, it's just superb. I simply agree why they call it the "Ultimate Driving Machine" :) Too early to dream but how about a BMW 325i for myself with a plate number "ALV 7" *hahahaha*

Love Cupid

Love stories are always beautiful and does cupid really exist? I guess it will if one believe so but why doesn't Mr. Cupid shoot the right arrow on the right moment? Love has always been a complicated thing and sometimes it is rather hurtful too. I do envy people with long lasting relationships and wonder why mine doesn't, haha. Some thinks I'm choosy but the fact is, it's not easy to get someone you could really click and have the right chemistry. I know I'm no great guy and there are plenty out there with much better personality, looks, character and career but I still hope Mr. Cupid helps me by shooting the right arrow :p I really have no idea when that person will ever appear. If I'm given the choice then I would certainly choose one from my past ex. I guess I'm lucky enough that they were once my gf but I am unsure what they think about me tho'

Forgetting is the hardest thing and if only my memory is like a hard disk, I'll just type "rm -f *" *lol*

First weekend on March

Nothing much over the weekends, have been sleeping a lot and still terribly tired. I wonder what's gone wrong but doesn't matter, life goes on and I still gotta work tomorrow, haha. Working life is terribly boring as you spend 5 days working and 2 days sleeping, lol. I need a break and I need someone to go out with for movies, coffee or anything but I can't find that someone. Sigh, what's wrong with me and where is everyone?! :(

I recall something productive which I did over the weekends - I cleaned my room air cond filter as well as grandma's, haha :)

The Saturday was spent with a coffee break and food session with Amy at the Dome after having my hair cut. The hairstylist did some fashion for my hair and I was a little not used to it. Anyway, I won't be able to comb it that way myself :)

Btw, DOME stopped giving discounts for Citibank Clear cards *sigh* Maybe it's time to try out some other places, haha.

Last Friday @ KLCC

I was on leave last Friday and I brought grandma for a walk in KLCC. It's been a long time since she's been there so I thought it'll be good to bring her around. We had San Francisco coffee together and I ordered her a hot Mocha while I had the iced one. It tasted good surely and I'll bring her to Starbucks the next time :) Here are some photos which I took with my W800i. Ain't my grandma cute?
