The Retards

Hmm, it's been a while (again) that I last posted. Well, I'm still the same old "me" and still undergoing the simple yet normal routine of life. As you grow older, you tend to have more commitments and more money is required, lol. Chinese New Year is coming and I'm still eligible to collect red packets but hopefully I'll be giving out instead of receiving in the near future.

There are many "funny" people around on earth. Not only that, the planet (particularly this country) is also filled with retards. These retards are sometimes uncivillized and uneducated which can be proven by the actions they do. A big "boo" to them but it is also rather unfortunate that they will NEVER, EVER learn how to be civillized.

Air Asia Free Tickets

Air Asia is offering free tickets again. It's hard to plan so much ahead of time and for all you know, your leave might not be approved either. I wanted a vacation (with sweetie) and free air tickets seems to be inspiring until moments later when we figured out it wasn't that "cheap" and "free" after all. Airport taxes to Bangkok is RM245, Macau RM255 which you have to pay in advanced when purchasing the tickets. The tickets are not transferrable although free so if you don't get to go, it's wasted.

Its sick and pathetic living in this country sometimes. There are so many uncivillized and uneducated people around, simply unimaginable. Sad but true, this is Malaysia.

Shell V-Power Racing

It costs me RM2.15/litre (23 cents more than normal petrol) but it certainly makes a difference. The latest fuel from Shell called V-Power Racing are now widely available in most Shell petrol stations. I know I'm on a scrap metal car but butt dyno tells me that my car seems to be more responsive after pumping a full tank of it. I've yet to know about the consumption but if it is ridiculously high, Projet is the way to go :)

Shell claims that this new petrol contains a technology called Friction Modification Technology (FMT) which is also used by Ferrari on their F1 cars. I believe the addition of some fuel addictive is what makes the difference. It is a good fuel (trust me) but price is just a factor that keeps people away. Btw, I'm not advertising for Shell and neither am I paid to write this.

Late

I was tired, sleepy and I woke up late. I happen to reach office at 10AM and I did not speed but drove at my usual speed. Shell V-Racing indeed makes our driving experience a little different :) The weather is a little cloudy today and looks like it'll have a downpour later in the evening. It's just my guess and besides, our lousy meteorological department gives a wrong forecast 95% of the time. Are they really doing research or simply throwing dices then come out with a forecast? Well, only they would know :) Anyway, the Internet connection is laggy again. Malaysian ISP and broadband sucks!

Yawns and yawns

A sunny Thursday afternoon. Sleepy and tiring is what I'm feeling *yawns*. It would be great if I could take a nap now (if only). I consumed much tea, quitted coffee lately but still, not a good solution for the sleepiness that I'm having. Well, I'm adapting to a normal life now without counting on those B's. They make your body heaty and hence risk yourself of getting fever if it becomes terrible.

I'm glad there's still Internet around eventhough TMnet sucks big time. I really have to thank TMnet for providing "Timeout" errors rather than a page which I wanted to view. Today, cyberspace has become part of our lives and it helps to keep us occupied sometimes when boredom haunts us (like now). Imagine how the children of tomorrow would hook themselves to the web and how we (as parents) would scream at them.

It's 4:35PM and I'll patiently wait for the hour to pass so that I could go home :) Have a good Thursday!

Malaysian Chinese

First week of 2007 is almost ending and I'm certainly looking forward to the weekends. I surf through thestar.com.my everyday and happen to read about the latest news and lousy things which happens in this country. From robberies, murders to raping, these headlines top the news daily.

A new year, a new beginning but when would things ever improve. Instead of moving forward, more and more social issues are created. Government are putting more burden to the general public by increasing petrol and toll rates (for example). In the long run, it only contributes to more problems and not the advancement of this society.

I remembered clearly watching a clip of an MP in the parliament which calls Chinese to leave this country if we're not happy. I truthfully hope most if not all Chinese in this country would be able to earn enough, succeed and finally migrate to a place which appreciates our contributions. This nation has never appreciated us and they forgotten who were the ones that help built up the country's economy.

I'm sure the truth and justice will prevail and when they realize how important we are to this nation, it's already too late.

Happy New Year 2007

Happy New Year 2007 everyone and I hope it's not too late for the wishes as it's now the 3rd day of 2007. It must have been good for most of us I'm sure and may the New Year bring more good stuffs for everyone. Hopefully, there are lesser morons on the street too.

I had dinner over at Tamarind Springs on New Year's eve with the sweetest girl. The place was nice, interesting and had a good environment. Unfortunately, it's a bit too warm and the food isn't that spectacular either despite carrying a heavy price tag. If you were to ask if I'd ever go again, the answer would be "Thanks but no thanks". Lesson of the day - don't go to restuarants that doesn't have air-conds unless it's raining or weather is super cooling that day.

Later on that night, we joined Eric and his wife for some fireworks observation at the Ampang-KL elevated highway. It was a little over 12AM when KLCC finally fired off the fireworks. They are short and low (cost cutting perhaps?), not really visible from the spot we're standing. We get to catch a good look only when it was towards the end as the last few shots went all the way high up. Hmm, wasn't the best of fireworks and we caught ourselves in a massive jam after that.

Our last stop was Steven's corner and then some fun in the cyber cafe. Eric and I played Frozen Throne together, was badly bashed by the AI computer until the last game when we set the AI at it's lowest level. We need more practice and trainings definitely :)

Year 2006 has been a great year and I hope 2007 would be even a better one. I lost much time sleeping and waking up late in 2006 and waking up 15 mins earlier would be one of my resolution for 2007. Lets see if it works :p
